Wonderful Package Full of Goodies...

Oh my HSKS6 goodness! I received my package from Lily of Flitwick and all I can say is WOW! I have got to be the luckiest witch there is. Check out all the goodies...I got a great card, At Knit's End, 2-at-a-time Socks, my first long circ so I can not only knit 2 socks at a time, but can also finally learn magic loop, some dragonfly great stitchmarkers from Crazy 4 Dyeing, a small hank of Lily's very own handspun yarn, some Ghirardelli chocolates, chocolate almond M&M Premiums (YUM!), a box of Bertie Botts, the wonderful beret from Charmed knits specially made by Lily using some of you very lovely hand-dyed yarns, and last but certainly not least, an AWESOME sock blank that Lily dyed just for me. The sock yarn was so cleverly blanked that it's all ready for me to use my new book and circular needles to start right out knitting 2 socks at once.

Unfortunately a mishap with one of those blasted Muggle contractions they use for transport is going to be sending me to the Hospital Wing after all. I simply don't have the healing abilities to take care of the matter on my own. Muggle transportation...Hmpf! Give me a good ole' fashioned broom any day! I tell you...it was all I could do not to grab my wand from beneath my robes and shout, "CRUCIO!" right then and there.

Hopefully Madam Pomfrey will be be able to mend the bones post-haste for me and I'll be back in the Tower common room very soon knitting by the fire with you all!
